Delivery Information
Shipping destinations
We currently ship all over the Philippines.
For Metro Manila, pickup can be arranged for same-day delivery.
Shipping times
Please allow 2-7 days for your order to be processed for shipping.
Tracking your parcel
The second fulfillment email sent to you will contain a tracking number for your reference. You may track it using our third party logistics partner (J&T, DHL, FedEx), whichever may apply.
I'm in Metro Manila, how do I arrange pickup?
Pickup is available from 11am to 6pm. An email or SMS will be sent to you when your order is ready for pickup.
If you prefer to book your own delivery service provider, please send us an email (hi@batteredcopy.com) to make arrangements.
All pickup fees are covered by the customer.
Returns & Refunds
How can I return my purchase?
Sorry but we are currently not accepting returns and refunds on any of the used books.
Can I cancel my order?
Unfortunately, we cannot make changes to your order once it’s been confirmed. We recommend that you review order details before checking out. For special requests, kindly email hi@batteredcopy.com.
About the Books
Can you tell me more about the books?
The books we have in our store comes from our personal bookshelves.
What are New Books?
New books are exactly what they are! They are new because we sometimes buy more than one copy by mistake (eek!).
It has never been used, no stain, marks, or any form of damage.
What are Used Books?
A used book is not new and have different categories, so you can know what to expect. All used books have all their pages intact, with readable text, no mold attack or heavy stain on it.
There are four categories:
- Used – Like New
- Used – Very Good
- Used – Good
- Used – Acceptable
Used – Like New books may have worn or cut or with marks that are not significant.
The condition Used – Very Good is still very good and very close to a new book. The defects are not significant. It may have worn or cut or minor marks.
They do not have notes or any significant stain or damages.
A Used – Good have signs of wear and may include some notes and highlighting.
Rarely, we post Used – Acceptable books. These may have cover that has worn out completely but replaced or repaired. There might be significant markings.
Why can't I buy more than three books?
We would like for our books to go to people who are bookworms like ourselves, if you want to buy more than three, please reach to us via Facebook, Instagram or email.
Are there other forms of payment?
We accept GCASH too, please reach to us via Facebook, Instagram or email.
